Summary Box: Stocks fall, gas prices high (AP)

GAS GUZZLES: The price of oil climbed to its highest level in five weeks after Iran said it would cut off some exports of crude to Europe. The average retail price for a gallon of gas is $3.52, according to AAA. This time a year ago, gas was $3.12.

BY THE NUMBERS: The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 97 points to close at 12,781. It was the worst one-day decline for the Dow this year.

TROUBLE IN FARMVILLE: Zynga, the maker of popular Facebook games like FarmVille, fell 18 percent after reporting a loss for the fourth quarter. It was Zynga's first earnings report as a public company. Zynga closed at $11.80, still above the initial public offering price of $10 but well below Tuesday's record high of $14.35.
