Final Fantasy III (for Android)

An early-1990s RPG classic, Final Fantasy III has come to the Android Market with a very high price ($16.99 on Google Play) and equally high expectations. With mobile-focused producers like Kemco and Gamevil dominating the Android RPG space, can PC and console giant Square Enix show them how it's done? Not quite.

The Android version of FF3 is a slightly updated port of the 2007 Nintendo DS release, which was a pretty major rewrite of the original 1990 Nintendo game. This is a classic Japanese console RPG: a party of four characters explores a world with two scales (outdoor and town/dungeon), collecting items and fighting monsters using turn-based combat as they grow in power.

Graphics are pretty much a direct DS port as well, with an overhead view at three-quarters perspective. They don't stress Android devices, but they're a cut above some of the purely 8-bit RPGs you find on Google Play.

The best aspect of game mechanics is the job system, which lets characters change classes at will. New classes get unlocked as the game goes on. Switching around classes adds a lot to the fun of the game, although unfortunately it's difficult to figure out what each one does without consulting online strategy guides.

What's The Story?
One of my biases comes to the fore here: I love a good story, and FF3 doesn't have one. For the first three hours or so of the game, you're left bumbling around knowing the main quest is something vague involving a crystal. Then you find out more, but the plot is still a vague MacGuffin, not the passionate and character-driven stuff you see from games like Symphony of Eternity.

The characters, meanwhile, each get a bit of an origin but then act blandly generic throughout the game. Contrast that once again to Symphony, which keeps hitting notes of mystery, humor and romantic tension as time goes on.

That said, if the journey is the destination, FF3 has plenty of journey?at least 40 hours' worth, if you're not already a Final Fantasy expert. While this is a linear quest with only a few side quests, every step of the linear quest is different. And the little sub-quests do have plots?save this town, rescue that princess?to keep you occupied.

Not For Beginners
The game's length extends because this game is hard. Many RPG crutches don't exist here. You can't save in dungeons. You can't buy resurrect items?you have to find them, and they're strictly limited. It's very difficult to find anything to restore your magic points outside a town. I had to break from the quest a few times to grind levels so I didn't get mowed down as frequently. After the first eight hours or so, things get a lot easier, but the beginning is tough going.

Dungeons and towns, meanwhile, are studded with secret doors that can be impossible to find without resorting to strategy guides or online walkthroughs. Of course, this being a famous, 20-year-old game, there are plenty of walkthroughs online.

I just looked back there and I'm being a bit too negative overall. Beggars can't be choosers, and RPG fans on Android are beggars with a slim selection of apps. FF3 hits all the basic RPG pleasure buttons, and its difficulty level is refreshing for folks who might find Kemco's lineup too straightforward.

That said, Symphony of Eternity is still my Android RPG pick. With compelling characters, a modern plot, and less frustrating gameplay - even though it doesn't measure up to FF3 on graphics?it's a more enjoyable experience.

One cheeky optician known for its humor is running a full page ad in a British newspaper that cashes in on the recent Korean flag mix-up at the women's soccer game between North Korea and Colombia.

The ad appears Friday in the pull-out Olympics section of Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper. It features both the North Korean and South Korean flags side-by-side. Underneath is Korean writing which, when translated, roughly matches the optician's famous advertising catch phrase: "Should have gone to Specsavers."

The South Korean flag was mistakenly displayed on the giant screen before the match in Glasgow, Scotland, on Wednesday night. The North Korean team refused to take the field for about an hour before the game started. London organizers have since apologized for the mix-up.

North Korea's IOC member, Chang Ung, has now proposed that Olympic protocol officials meet with team leaders before every medal ceremony to check that the correct flags and national anthems are used.

On Friday, No 8 seed Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark tried the difficult maneuver twice during a practice session with No. 10 seed Li Na of China, ahead of the Olympic event at Wimbledon. "I want to do it so much but I can't," Wozniacki said with a laugh to Li. Then the Chinese player tried it when Wozniacki lobbed her, and she too failed.

Those in London for the Games will be getting a more authentic British weather experience today as rainy spells hit the capital.

Thursday was the hottest day of the year in Britain ? temperatures reached 31.4 Celsius 89 Fahrenheit) at the Olympic Park ? but Friday started off much cooler indeed.

The good news? Forecasters say that any rain should have cleared by early evening with the British Met Office predicting just a 10 percent chance of a downpour at the opening ceremony. Longtime climber leading South Bellevue Community Center camps ...

For Tom Waldron, climbing is a pastime.

He spent much of his childhood in Massachusetts with friends at a local quarry, learning to navigate up and back down with little more than blind courage.

"It was just a big hole in the ground," Waldron said of the favorite haunt of his youth. "We used to climb all the time, but not with so much safety equipment."

While his younger, more reckless days of climbing have long since passed, Waldron still has a passion for the sport, one he and his company Mini Mountain share with youth in Bellevue throughout the summer through week-long camps at South Bellevue Community Center.

After coming to Bellevue in the early 1980s to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Washington, Waldron founded Mini Mountain in 1983 in an effort to teach ski lessons year-round at the specially furnished indoor facility. Shortly after, he extended to climbing lessons and was contracted to operate the city of Bellevue's climbing camps at the South Bellevue Community Center when it opened in Dec. 2005. Waldron said while his staffers from Mini Mountain often operate the camps, he still enjoys bringing climbing to another generation.

"They are doing stuff that makes them nervous and afraid, but they still do it," he said. "That is something they will need in life."

Climbing experience is a necessity for Waldron's instructors, but he said finding people with an affinity for teaching children is the most crucial factor.

Taylor Barrett, a Washington State University student who began climbing four years ago, is one of the leaders of the camps and teaches alongside his sister Victoria. The pair cover everything down to basic knot tying and Taylor said watching campers progress from their introduction to the indoor wall to their first outdoor climb is an exciting experience.

"It's really fun to watch that," he said. "The best part is being able to share these resources."

13-year-old Tudor Muntianu has been climbing for four years after getting a taste of the sport on vacations with his parents and said he is on his third go-around at climbing camp. Along with a love of hiking and the outdoors, Muntianu said the challenges presented by rock climbing are what gravitates him to the sport.

"It's just a great atmosphere," Muntianu said. "There's no pressure at all."

After beginning each session at the community center, campers get an opportunity to truly experience climbing with daily trips to a popular spot off I-90's Exit 38 or Marymoor Park in Redmond. While the techniques taught at the indoor rock wall are a vital piece of education for any aspiring climber, both Muntianu and Waldron said taking the practice outdoors is where the real payoff comes.

"It's a whole different environment," Waldron said. "We have kids that show up afraid to touch the bushes. A lot of them haven't spent much time outdoors and it isn't like we are climbing in the parking lot."

Facebook shares pressured by Zynga ahead of results

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Facebook shares tumbled ahead of its first quarterly results announcement as a public company on Thursday, hurt by a weak quarterly report and a grim outlook from online game developer Zynga.

Facebook Inc shares dropped 7 percent to $27.65 in premarket trading while Zynga Inc slumped 40 percent to $3.04 - the two most heavily traded stocks before the bell on Nasdaq.

"Considering that Zynga was a recent IPO, it's another black eye for Wall Street. You bring up an IPO and you get burnt again and again," said Joe Saluzzi, co-founder of Themis Trading LLC in Chatham, New Jersey.

Zynga's results are "not creating good confidence in the sector as they (social media companies are) certainly related to each other."

The fate of the two companies is intertwined, with Zynga's games, such as "FarmVille" and "CityVille," helping to make up more than a tenth of Facebook's revenue last year.

Late on Wednesday, Zynga slashed its 2012 outlook and the company's quarterly results badly missed Wall Street targets. A number of brokerages cut their price targets on the company on Thursday, including Wedbush, Citigroup and Lazard, casting some uncertainty over Facebook ahead of its inaugural results after the close of trading Thursday.

Earlier this week, the options market was forecasting a 14 percent move up or down in Facebook shares following the results. That means options investors expect the stock to rise to as much as $32 by Friday or to fall to as low as $24.

Since the IPOs, shares of Facebook and Zynga have been in a downward spiral. Facebook, at $28.45, is off nearly $10 from its market debut price of $38 in May, and Zynga is at $4.92, nearly half its debut price of $9.50 in December.

Despite the steep decline in their share prices, Facebook and Zynga are both trading well above their market valuations. Facebook is still trading at around 70 times earnings, according to Thomson Reuters data. An analysis by Thomson Reuters StarMine puts the company's intrinsic value at a modest $9.72 a share, or about one third its current value, based on estimates of the company's projected growth for the next decade.

Earlier in the week, analysts, on average, were expecting revenue in the second quarter to grow 28 percent to $1.15 billion.

With over 900 million users, Facebook is the world's largest social networking company, challenging established Web companies for consumers' online time and for advertising revenue.

Giffords, who still uses a wheelchair much of the time, was on her first trip outside the United States since she was shot in the head by a gunman in January 2011 as she met local people outside a Tucson supermarket.

She rode the two-stage cable car to a station with spectacular views of Mont Blanc and other peaks in France, Italy and Switzerland.

In bright sunshine but sub-zero temperatures at an altitude of 3,842 meters (12,605 feet) at the cable-car station on the Aiguille du Midi peak, Giffords smiled as she stood with her husband's arm around her shoulders.

"Gaby is really enjoying this visit," Kelly told friends and reporters. "This is a great day for us."

Kelly, accompanied by other U.S. astronauts, then visited a nearby mountain research station to install a plaque recalling the last U.S. space shuttle mission.

The trip was organized by Chamonix Tourist Office and the European Nuclear Research Centre, CERN, in Geneva, where the AMS particle detector, which Kelly and his Endeavour team took to the International Space Station in May 2011, was developed.

Giffords was a Democratic member of the House of Representatives but resigned her seat this January, saying her district deserved to have a representative "who can give 100 per cent to the job."

Six people were killed in last year's shooting, which was thought to have been an attempt to assassinate Giffords. She is undergoing intensive therapy and her speech is impaired.?

Google Fiber gets formal launch, adds Google Fiber TV (update: event video)

Google just kicked its Google Fiber efforts into overdrive. The company's Kansas City effort is getting a full launch and now includes Google Fiber TV -- a "real" TV service with recognizable channels and its own, fully searchable interface that mixes DVR results with Netflix and YouTube. As many as 500 shows can be stored in full 1080p HD, and several TVs within the home can tune in at the same time.. Not surprisingly, there's also a major mobile component taking advantage of that 1Gbps fiber link, as users will have the option of browsing, sharing and eventually watching live TV directly from tablet apps. The company is also promising an ever-evolving service that includes Google+ video hangouts. For hardware, Google has its own dedicated Network Box with a four-port gigabit Ethernet router and 802.11n WiFi, a TV Box with live viewing and a WiFi access point as well as a Storage Box DVR with 2TB of data and the ability to record eight shows at once. Your remote control? A free, bundled Nexus 7 tablet, naturally.

The overall service will come with 1TB of Google Drive space, although it's expensive to get started: there's a $300 "construction fee" (currently being waived) to wire a home for the fiber optics. Three packages will be on offer, starting with a Gigabit + TV package that includes the essentials, all major channels and "hundreds" of fiber channels (plus on-demand content) for $120 a month. Skip traditional TV and it costs $70 a month -- and if you're a local resident willing to pony up the construction free, you can get 5Mbps internet access for free for "at least" seven years. Key institutions are getting the full gigabit access for free, as well. Only small slices of Kansas City in both Missouri and Kansas state should have access at first, but Google is conducting a six-week "rally" where the most people paying a $10 pre-registration fee dictate where Google Fiber goes next. Now if only other cities would go the same route.

Gov. Brown pushes $23-billion plan to tunnel under delta

Gov. Jerry Brown's administration said Wednesday that it is pushing ahead with a $23-billion proposal intended to improve water deliveries to the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California and stop the ecological free fall of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

The plans, which would involve construction of the most ambitious water supply project in California in decades, call for the building of two massive tunnels beneath the delta to transport water south, and the restoration of tens of thousands of acres of delta habitat.

Invoking California's "pioneer spirit," Brown said the project was "profoundly important to California's future" and called it "a big idea for a big state."

"I look at this as another test of whether we can govern ourselves," he said at a Sacramento news conference, at which he was joined by U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar. "Analysis paralysis is not why I came back. I want to get [stuff] done," he said, using an expletive to emphasize his resolve.

Under the proposal, which is a scaled-down version of an earlier design released during Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's administration, three large intake facilities would be built on the Sacramento River near Hood. They would be capable of diverting 9,000 cubic feet of water a second into two side-by-side underground tunnels that would carry supplies 35 miles to the huge government pumps in the south delta that send water to Central Valley farms and Southland cities. Currently, supplies are drawn through the delta to the pumps, a system that has profoundly altered the delta ecology.

Water users ? ultimately farmers and residential customers ? would foot the $14-billion construction bill and roughly $5 billion in operating costs. State taxpayers would cover most of the $3-billion to $4-billion expense for habitat restoration.

Though Brown's announcement signaled momentum after years of planning, the proposal remains far from a sure thing. Key issues remain unsettled ? most important, the volume of water that would be exported from the delta system.

If the water agencies paying for the new conveyance facilities can't be assured of the deliveries they want, they could pull out. The project must also win permits from the state and federal agencies responsible for enforcing endangered species protections.

Officials said alternatives, including building larger or smaller facilities, will remain under consideration while they try to nail down details of their preferred proposal in coming months. They are hoping to release draft environmental documents this fall and issue a final decision next year. Under the most optimistic time frame, construction could begin in two to three years, and the project would be up and running in 2026.

The tunnel proposal echoes the peripheral canal project that Brown, in an earlier term as governor, pushed through the Legislature, only to see it killed by voters in 1982. Brown said the new project is based on a much better understanding of the delta ecosystem and the effects of delta pumping. "Here we are 30 years later with a lot more knowledge, a lot more science and better technology," he said.

The plan for a new system to ship Northern California water supplies south is the latest in 20 years of efforts to resolve the conflict between the state's thirst and the environment of the West Coast's largest estuary.

As water exports rose in recent decades, the health of the delta has deteriorated sharply. Its native fish are imperiled, its waters infested with invasive species. The delta's basic hydrology has been thrown out of whack by the enormous south delta pumps that are so powerful they reverse the flow of delta waterways.

With environmental decline have come tighter export restrictions that cut water deliveries to the Southland and San Joaquin Valley agribusiness. The premise of the new proposal is that by combining new conveyance facilities with extensive habitat restoration, the delta environment will improve, fish species will rebound and water deliveries will stabilize or grow.

But environmentalists and delta advocates argue that the only way to save the delta is to take less water from it. "They can't prove [the project] will work for the environment," said Jonas Minton, a former state water official who is now water policy advisor for the Planning and Conservation League. The estuary "needs more fresh water to sustain it, and they continue to deny that," he added.

The proposal to build a peripheral canal around the delta to carry supplies to the pumps sparked a nasty north-south battle 30 years ago.

But political opposition to the tunnel proposal has so far been centered in the delta, which has limited political clout and has aimed its guns at corporate agriculture rather than Southern California ? recognition that most of the water diverted from the delta goes to irrigation ditches, not urban faucets.

The commercial salmon industry worries that the big intakes will harm migrating salmon on the Sacramento River. Delta farmers are concerned that a reduction of the river's flows into the delta will hurt their water quality. And they don't want to lose fields to wetlands restoration.

After the morning news conference, a bipartisan group of about 200 farmers, fishermen and lawmakers from the delta region, some holding pitchforks and homemade signs, gathered on the steps of the state Capitol to blast the proposal. "To the governor and the secretary ? you launch a war, we'll fight the battle," declared Rep. John Garamendi (D-Walnut Creek).

In Washington, Rep. Jerry McNerney (D-Pleasanton) called the plan "completely unacceptable," and Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena), who represents fishing communities, said it was a "terrible mistake to outline what it is that they prefer happens before the science is done to determine what can and should happen."

In statements, officials of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the Westlands Water District ? which together would pay for about half the cost of the intake-tunnel system ? called Brown's announcement a milestone.

But Westlands raised the possibility that some water users could ultimately decide the program wasn't worth their investment. And in an interview earlier this week, an official of the Kern County Water Agency was similarly cautious.

"This isn't affordable at all costs for our water users," said Jim Beck, the agency's general manager. "In the next few months, we hope we get more information that would help them make an informed decision about the viability of the project for them and our willingness to continue funding our share of the permitting effort."

Penn St. early foes planning to keep focus on game

Ohio is favored to win the Mid-American Conference and go to a bowl for a fourth straight year. Coach Frank Solich knows none of that will matter much when his Bobcats open the season at Penn State on Sept. 1.

The game will be the first since Penn State was hit hard by NCAA sanctions for the cover-up of child sex abuse. Solich says there'll be a lot of "buzz" around the game "for negative reasons."

Coaches Mike London of Virginia and Ken Niumatalolo (nee-uh-mah-tuh-LOHL'-loh) of Navy also face the Nittany Lions. They said they wouldn't be surprised to see a number of Penn State players transfer, though early indication is the current team should stay intact.

Both said they sympathize with first-year coach Bill O'Brien, who's trying to keep current players from defecting and recruit to a program banned from postseason play for four years.

Ex-Yahoo CEO becomes head of ShopRunner

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) ? Recently ousted Yahoo CEO Scott Thompson has landed a new job leading ShopRunner, an online service that provides two-day shipping from a variety of Internet retailers.

Monday's announcement of Thompson's appointment as ShopRunner's new CEO comes two months after his short-lived tenure at Yahoo Inc. came to a mortifying end.

Yahoo shoved aside Thompson, 54, after a dissident shareholder uncovered misinformation in his official biography filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The bio listed a bachelor's degree in computer science that he never received, raising doubts about Thompson's integrity that led to his departure after just four months on the job.

Yahoo last week replaced Thompson, hiring longtime Google Inc. executive Marissa Mayer as its fifth CEO in the past five years. Another Yahoo executive, Ross Levinsohn, had been filling in as interim CEO.

ShopRunner evidently had no qualms about Thompson's troubles at Yahoo. Michael Golden, who had been ShopRunner's CEO and is staying on as the service's president, hailed Thompson as "the perfect long-term CEO."

In his new job, Thompson will be running a privately held company with connections to one of his former employers, eBay Inc. Thompson led eBay's online payment service, PayPal, before defecting to Yahoo at the beginning of the year.

ShopRunner began as part of GSI Commerce, which eBay bought for $2.4 billion last year. After that deal closed, eBay spun off ShopRunner into another company but still retains a 30 percent stake in the service.

The new job appears to be major step down for Thompson. As CEO of Yahoo, he was being paid a $1 million salary with an annual bonus of up to $2 million while overseeing a famous Internet company with $5 billion in annual revenue.

ShopRunner, in contrast, is a 2-year-old service still trying to establish itself as part of a small, privately held company called Kynetic that's owned by GSI founder Michael Rubin. Kynetic also controls two other e-commerce services, Fanatics and Rue La La, that were spun out of GSI after last year's eBay acquisition.

"Joining ShopRunner is a tremendous opportunity to build on the strong foundation that the company has already established," Thompson said in a statement.

A ShopRunner spokesperson said Thompson was unavailable to be interviewed Monday.

ShopRunner offers two-day shipping for online purchases made by its subscribers, who pay a $79 annual fee. The service is similar to online retailer Amazon.com Prime option, which also provides two-day shipping and access to a library of Internet videos for the same $79 annual price.

The retailers offering two-day shipping through ShopRunner include Toys R Us, GNC, Petsmart, Sports Authority, Lord & Taylor and AutoZone.

ShopRunner is based in Conshohocken, Pa., but also has a Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park, Calif. That's not far from where Thompson used to work at Yahoo's Sunnyvale, Calif. headquarters.

When many of the city's restaurants and grocery stores had yet to reopen, food trucks provided a vital service of bringing food to all the people working to get New Orleans back up and running. On Sunday July 29, Tales of the Cocktail pays homage to the New Orleans food truck culture while adding a little twist of its own at Street Food and Go Cups. New Orleans tops fastest growing cities in America list

Continuing to rebound from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans had the highest population growth in the country for any city over the size of 100,000.

While the nation?s population grew last year by just 0.1 percent, many of the largest metropolitan cities are booming. Based on newly released data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 24/7 Wall St. identified the 10 largest cities with the fastest growing populations.

Population grew between 2.5 percent and 5 percent in America?s biggest cities. Many of these cities are located in the southeastern part of the United States, with three of the 10 biggest increases taking place in Texas.

Unemployment rates were all across the board in these regions. In 2010, some of these cities, including Austin and Plano, Texas, and Raleigh, N.C., had jobless rates that were among the 15 lowest in the country for large cities. Others, including Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Tampa, Fla., were on the other end of the spectrum, with unemployment rates of 10 percent or more.

While unemployment varied in these cities, the number of people employed in these regions increased across the board. Between 2010 and 2011, the number of people employed in nonfarm jobs increased in the U.S. by 1.4 percent. In the majority of the metropolitan divisions in which these cities are located, employment increased by at least that much. Charlotte added 2.4 percent to its labor force and Austin grew by 2.8 percent. However, in El Paso, Texas, and New Orleans employment grew at less than the national rate, meaning that the population grew in spite of a stagnant job market.

Looking at GDP growth, many of the local economies were booming before the new residents showed up. Half were in the top third among large metropolitan areas, and three were in the top 15. Charlotte and Austin -- both among the top 10 -- had the second- and third-highest GDP growth in the U.S. between 2009 and 2010.

As more people moved into these markets, demand for housing increased. According to data provided by Fiserv, while home prices fell in nearly every major metropolitan region, it fell by the smallest margins among those on our list. In the case of Austin and Plano, home prices actually increased.

24/7 Wall St.: Home sellers smarter than Realtors think

In order to identify the fastest growing American cities, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed the U.S. Census Bureau?s population change data for cities with populations of 250,000 or more. Average unemployment rates for these cities for 2010 and 2011 population change data came from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Data for Metropolitan Statistical Areas and Metropolitan Statistical Divisions was used to represent local economic data for unincorporated cities on the list. Data for the cities? corresponding MSAs include 2010 and 2011 unemployment rates from the BLS, 2009 to 2010 GDP data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and 2010 and 2011 home price data from Fiserv.

These are the fastest growing cities in America.

Continuing to rebound from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans had the highest population growth in the country for any city over the size of 100,000. The city?s rate of population growth (4.9 percent) is more than six times the national average of 0.73 percent. The Big Easy?s MSA (New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner) had significant growth in information jobs and education and health services, at 7 percent and 3.6 percent respectively. Despite this growth, the city?s population is at just 80 percent of pre-Katrina levels.

2. Austin, Texas

Alongside this population growth, the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos MSA has experienced tremendous economic growth. Real GDP rose 6.97 percent from 2009 to 2010, while the area added 21,900 jobs in 2011, helping to lower the unemployment rate to 6.2 percent that year. In 2010, 15 percent of housing units in the metropolitan area were five years old or less, the highest such proportion among all metropolitan areas reviewed by 24/7 Wall St. While many regions had weak housing markets in 2011, Austin housing prices actually rose in the fourth quarter of 2011 versus the last quarter of the previous year, reaching a median price of $188,000.

3. Plano, Texas

Plano?s population increased by almost 10,000 between April 2010 and July 2011. Much of this may have been due to the availability of jobs, as 41,700 net jobs were added in 2011 within the Dallas-Plano-Irving metropolitan division, making up more than two-thirds of those added in the MSA. Plano?s government actively recruits multinational enterprises to move their headquarters or other major facilities to the city, and has succeeded in attracting Pizza Hut, JCPenney, Atmos Energy, Rent-A-Center?and other corporations to do so. Another facet of the city?s appeal may be its safety record. In 2011, the city had a violent crime rate of just 1.6 incidents per year per 100,000 residents. This was the lowest figure of any of the 68 cities on our list.

4. Denver, Colorado

5. Raleigh, North Carolina

In 2011, the Raleigh MSA added 10,500 jobs over the year with 3,200 of these coming from the trade, transportation and utilities industries, which cumulatively make up what is as of May the city?s largest employers. Much of the Raleigh area?s housing is new -- 14.6 percent of all housing units were created between 2005 and 2010. In 2011, Meritage Homes, the United States? ninth-largest homebuilder, began constructing homes in the region.?
